Leadership for the People
I am Manu Powers. I humbly ask you for your support.
My record of community service and as a business owner for over two decades has strengthened my commitment to stewardship, community-based solutions, and the importance of amplifying the voices of Native Hawaiians.
I built a 6.5 million dollar a year family business from the ground up - with a goal to create jobs so kamaʻāina can stay in Hawai‘i and make a living. I have a professional background in business operations, financial growth, development, and community service. I am a managing co-owner of Sea Quest Hawai‘i ocean tours, founder of Green-Flash Coffee, and I have worked for Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and with Starbucks in Corporate Management.

Solutions for Hawai‘i Island
Regenerative Tourism
Tourism is a major part of Hawaiʻi’s economy, but it must be managed responsibly. Manu supports policies that build a thriving tourism industry that benefits local communities while protecting cultural and environmental resources.
Environmental Stewardship
Protecting Hawaiʻi’s natural resources is essential for both cultural preservation and economic sustainability. Manu supports initiatives that safeguard land, water, and marine ecosystems for future generations.
Community-Based Economic Development
Local businesses and entrepreneurs are the backbone of Hawaiʻi’s economy. Manu advocates for policies that keep economic opportunities rooted in the islands and accessible to local families.
Cultural Preservation
Hawaiʻi’s culture is its greatest strength. Manu believes policies should uplift and protect Native Hawaiian traditions, language, and community practices.
