Endorsements
I am deeply grateful for the endorsements I have received from Unions and PACs like the ILWU, the Operating Engineers, HuliPac and more. The declaration of support these groups have made speaks volumes about the faith the people growing our food, building our homes, and keeping our community safe have in me and my willingness to listen and advocate for our shared values. And although funds have been offered to my campaign from these groups, in an effort to run a fully transparent and authentic campaign, I have chosen not to accept. We have seen a wave of grassroots support from our community and are executing a campaign with integrity and community at its center. I am proud to be aligned with the organizations that have declared their trust in me as a partner to build a stronger Kona together for the sake of the generations to come despite my declining the financial support. Through communication, common ground and hard work, we will continue to thoughtfully build housing, improve and expand infrastructure, and keep local people here in Hawai'i.
